in honor of Aurora

Little Aurora lived from September 13 to October 27, 2012. She was the daughter of Coral and Ethan. She was born with a diaphragmatic hernia, and passed away from pneumonia. “When I think of her, I think of her bright eyes and how she smiled with them when she looked at us,” her mother says. “I could tell she loved us when looked at us.”

Aurora was a strong child—“a fighter”—and a “smart and loving” daughter as well. Her parents will never forget the bond they forged with her during her short time with them.  “I remember the first time I held her…she was a month old. The whole time she stared at me and I would sit there and sing and talk to her. Her eyes would get huge when I would sing, and even though she had breathing tubes in, you could see that big smile behind them. I sat there for hours with her until the nurses took her back.”

Aurora’s mom and dad would like to thank the Ronald MacDonald House, “which helped us a lot,” and the “small businesses of Kalispell, Montana.”
