in honor of Brandon

Brandon, the son of Andrew and Susan, was born on March 5, 2004 and passed away August 29, 2007. He suffered from Leigh’s Syndrome, an inherited neurometabolic disorder characterized by degeneration of the central nervous system. Leigh’s Syndrome can be best described as a lack of cell function that produces energy for the body. Due to Leigh’s Syndrome, Brandon’s brain was impaired, his vision dim, his heart weakened, and his muscles twitched spastically and he was unable to eat or digest food well.

Since birth, Brandon faced extreme challenges, but was an amazing teacher for those close to him. In his three short years, Brandon touched so many lives, and taught all who knew him to fight, be strong, to live for the day, and to enjoy every precious moment in life. Brandon is a true angel, and an amazing gift for his Mom and Dad, who fought every day to help him and love him unconditionally.
