Fifteen-year-old Bridget has been fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia, which is currently in remission, and has undergone a bone marrow transplant. Through it all, her mother says, “Bridget lives joyfully. She has maintained a positive outlook throughout her case. She shows gratitude, empathy, and love. She has taken charge of her medical care and she manages her medications. She plans and prepares meals for our family. She has diligently worked through online classes.” Nothing, in other words, can hold Bridget back.
Bridget’s family would like to thank the Austen Everett Foundation, the Russell Wilson Foundation, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for their support.
