in honor of Brooke

Brooke suffered from a very rare neurological disorder called Gm1 Gangliosidosis, and passed away in February 2012. The younger sister of Surena and Trent, and the daughter of Gil and Rose, she loved to curl up in a ball with whomever she was sitting near. “She got so comfy,” said her mother, “that she put us to sleep with her.”

Brooke’s family adored her. Her brother Trent said that he wanted “to marry her because she was perfect.” Her sister Surena loved caring for her, and was always making special pictures for Brooke.

Everyone remarked on her riveting eyes: “They were so beautiful,” her mother said. “They captured everyone’s attention.”
