Christian

Christian was born on May 6, 1993. He was the son of Gary and Sandy, and the older brother of Garrett and Kendall. Christian was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in May 2006, two days after his 13th birthday. His brother Garrett donated bone marrow for a transplant in August 2006, and he had a second transplant in September 2007. Although his cancer returned, his family resolved to keep their hopes up and fight on. Christian passed away on December 29, 2007.

Christian mother described him as “extremely brave, courageous, and honest.” He was a quiet guy who didn’t like a lot of attention. He loved to read the Bible, and one of his favorite verses was from Romans: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

Christian’s family would like to thank the Orange County Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which helped them raise $50,000 to support research on rare childhood cancers.
