in honor of Dashle

Dashle, born on October 15, 2010, arrived prematurely at 24 weeks, weighing only one pound, four ounces. He had severe kyphosis and spina bifida. Subsequently he was diagnosed with pulmonary vein stenosis, which is generally fatal after two or three years. “Dash is so loving and cuddly,” his mother says. “He appreciates me greatly…he is an amazing snuggler and the joy in his smiles is priceless. He is a fighter and has beaten odds several times in his year of life. He is very intelligent and picks up on actions and reactions after being shown only once.” He also relishes being the center of attention: “He has gotten quite used to being adored and uses facial expressions to communicate if you are focused on cuddling him enough.”

He is the twin brother of Phoebe, and the son of Nick & Beth.
