in honor of Holland

Born on September 4, 2014, Holland Hope is fighting her battle “with resilience and curiosity,” in her mom’s words. She suffers from tracheo esophageal fistula/esophageal atresia, duodenal atresia, and an aortic septal defect.

“One month after arriving home from the hospital,” her mother says, “Holland ended up being flown back to children’s with a bad case of RSV. The nurses in the PICU said that most babies with RSV cry incessantly. But Holly was quiet and sween and even smiled sometimes.”
