in honor of Isaac

Isaac is the son of Alicia and Osiel, and the brother of Osiel Jr, Jovita, and Donovan. In 2007, when he was 14 years old, Isaac was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. His has been a hard road of treatment, with side effects that his mother describes as “devastating.” Yet, his mother adds, “his positive attitude towards life and full determination to accomplish what he sets out to do” remain undiminished by his suffering. “One day, while in treatment, he expressed his desire to learn to play the guitar, and now we can surely see his passion for music—he is quite a gifted and talented guitar player.”

Isaac’s family would like to thank the National Children’s Cancer Society for “helping us through this hard time. Also Seattle Children’s Hospital for taking care of our son, and the Ronald McDonald House for everything they did.”
