Jack
in honor of Jack

Jack

Born on April 2, 2013, Jack suffers from Pentalogy of Cantrell, a rare syndrome that causes defects involving the diaphragm, abdominal wall, pericardium, heart, and lower sternum. By the time he was three months old, Jack had already been through open-heart surgery “and more than most adults go through,” his mother says. “Yet he is always smiling, like all the pain never happened. His strength is truly inspiring…and his smile lights up a room, never failing to capture everyone’s attention and warm my heart.”

In addition to his superhuman charm, Jack also is blessed with superhuman strength. “He was predicted by prenatal doctors to only survive a few days. Fortunately, he has defied the odds and is expected to bless our lives for a long time.”

Jack’s family would like to thank “Seattle Children’s Hospital for the exceptional care we’ve received.”
