Joshua K.
Joshua, the son of Petrona and Steve and the little brother of Adeline and Emma, was stillborn on August 29, 2007. He was subsequently found to have had a terminal disease known as anencephaly. “He was stillborn,” his mother says, “but in the womb he loved to move, especially when I ate French fries. Every time I needed him to move, he did.”
