Judah
in honor of Judah

Judah

Judah was born to Josh and Deanna on July 22, 2005 and passed away on November 3, 2005. His big brother Caleb is two years older than Judah. Judah was born with a rare, severe chromosomal disorder called Trisomy 13, caused by the presence of an extra #13 chromosome in every cell of his body. Ninety percent of Trisomy 13 babies do not survive their first year of life. His name, Judah, “has special meaning—Judah means ‘the praise of God’ and his middle name, Zachary, means ‘the Lord remembers.’ In spite of Judah’s condition, we know that his little life, however long it is, has great purpose. His condition has rendered his physical body flawed, but we know his spirit is intact. He truly is the praise of his Father in Heaven and is not forgotten! We serve a powerful and mighty God, and believe that even as Jesus healed the deaf and gave sight to the blind when he walked this earth, He is able to do the same today. We are praying and believing for the work of God to be displayed miraculously in our son’s life! But even if he is not healed in this life, we know that God will make him perfect in the next.”
