in honor of Kristofer

Born on January 21, 2013, Kristopher had been through six surgeries by the time he was 18 months old. He was born prematurely, at 29 weeks, and suffers from long QT syndrome, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and chronic lung disease. “Despite all he’s been through,” his parents say, “he always has a smile to share and cuddles to give. His smiles make us forget that he’s a pure miracle.”

Indeed, to look at him, you would never imagine that he spent the first five-and-a-half months of his life in a hospital, often unable to breathe on his own. “He always has a smile on his face. His joy is infectious. He will look at you with a coy smile, or those big blue/green eyes, and melt your heart. He is our amazing warrior!”

Kristopher’s mom and dad would like to thank S.A.D.S. for its loving support.
