Sammy T

Born on October 20, 2015, with multiple congenital anomalies and “a presumed unifying diagnosis of amniotic band disruption,” little Sammy’s parents were told that she might live as long as three months. Instead, “We just celebrated her first birthday,” her mother said recently.

Sammy is a joy to her family. “She loves to baby-talk and smile and laugh. The first time she figured out how to talk, she didn’t sleep all day and all night because she was talking non-stop. She’s a fighter!” She also “is an expert in kicking and eating her hands.”

Sammy’s family would like to thank “Providence Hospice (Stepping Stone), PACT, Seattle Children’s, and UW Medicine Kent/Des Moines.
