in honor of Trey

Trey was originally diagnosed at age seven with autism. His diagnosis was then changed at age nine to sensory integration disorder and a seizure disorder. After years of trying new medications to control his grand mal seizures, Trey’s family was directed to Children’s Hospital. Doctors now believe he has an unknown mitochondrial disease which continues to cause his condition to worsen with uncontrolled seizures.

Trey has always had a beautiful smile for anyone he sees and he would love to hug you if you would open your arms. He is such a loving young man.

His other love has always been for country music. He always knows the words and sings along with a wonderful voice. You can still see the light in his eyes every now and again, but he no longer sings to us or even speaks a word.
