Born on April 23, 2014, Lilly passed away the same day. She was born with a major brain deformation known as holoprosencephaly, which prevents the development of two separate hemispheres in the brain. “Lillian was a strong baby,” her mother recalls. “In the womb, she did backflips and kicked like a tap dancer. I like to imagine that she was dancing before she was born…now, she’s dancing with the Lord.”
