Glycogen storage disease 4 (also known as GSD 4), which leads to liver, kidney and heart failure, took little Brynn when she was six months old. Born on June 30, 2016, “she had the biggest personality,” her mother recalls. “She would react with growling noises that were the cutest ever, and she just started to learn how to smile.”

One of her favorite “growling games” involved a little lightweight ball she loved to hold. “She would hold it up to her face and growl while trying to eat it. She would make the biggest, happiest-looking eyes.”

Brynn’s mom and dad and her older siblings Logan, Abby, Sam, and Lucy treasure Brynn’s Soulumination portraits. “Even though all the pictures are from right before Brynn passed, you caught so many pictures that captured all sorts of emotions. It will be something that we will never forget, nor should we, so we will always have those pictures to look back on, knowing we were blessed to be Brynn’s parents, helping her into this world and seeing her out of it. They are sad but beautiful pictures!!!”
