Born on January 9, 2013, Erik was taken by cancer on April 18, 2015. “His laugh always melted everyone’s heart,” his mother says. “There were several times with Erik that the doctors told us he wasn’t going to make it. But he did, and would bounce right back, and he would be smiling and laughing. He was a very strong kid and we are very proud of him. Even though cancer took his life, he still won the battle; it can never cause him pain or suffering again. He is safe with Jesus and God, and is watching out for us. So until we see him again….”
Erik’s family would like to thank the Ronald MacDonald House, Accoin of Spokane, and The Anna Schindler Foundation for their loving support.
