Isaac B.

Born in January 2010, Isaac is fighting juvenile pilocystic astrocytoma. “Our diagnosis and three-week stay in the hospital were pretty traumatic,” his mother recalls. Three brain surgeries in eight days. A strong diagnosis with no exact playbook. Unknown future deficits. We were thrilled as Isaac’s personality began to come back through the trauma. He kept a cheerful attitude through three hours per day of rehab and going through the conversion to a bag and feeding tube.”

Isaac has taught everyone who knows him about grace and strength. “We love his delightful curiosity! He is such a happy, patient, playful, thoughtful, and caring child.”

Isaac’s family would like to thank The Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Fund for its support.
