Olivia spent a brief time on earth, from June 25 to November 30, 2014. She suffered from GRACILE Syndrome.
“Olivia was very strong,” her mother says. “She lived a lot longer than expected. She was very happy and easygoing. She had really beautiful eyes and lashes—and she could give you either a smile or a really good stinkeye.”
Her mother remembers particularly how Olivia “loved to stare, and study the world around her. She discovered flashing Christmas lights and she could stare and enjoy those lights for hours.”
Olivia’s family is particularly grateful for “the amazing people at Seattle Children’s.”
