Rowyn P.

Born on October 28, 2016, with trisomy 18 (a genetic cell-division disorder putting an extra chromosome in some or all of a newborn’s cells), Rowyn is “still defying the odds!” her mother reports. “I think her birth story says it all,” she continues. “Born with trisomy 18 and her cord around her neck three times. No intervention needed. She’s thriving and started nursing two months ago, which we were told she wouldn’t be strong enough to do. She is so sassy and knows what she wants…she’s very strong-willed.”
