Becky Langseth

Hi, I'm Becky, a birth photographer/videographer based in Seattle. Photography is actually my second career. I was a teacher for 10+ years, and after I had children, I decided to pivot to photography. I've always loved the creativity and artistry of taking photos. 

One of the reasons I love volunteering for Soulumination is because I know how much the families will cherish these images. I distinctly remember ten years ago, I was visiting the home of a new friend who had lost their child a few months after giving birth due to complications. They proudly and prominently displayed their tiny baby's photo in their living room. That image impacted me, and I knew how meaningful that photo was to this new friend of mine. Which is why I now love to offer the same beautiful photos and memories for others. 

In my spare time I love to hike, drink coffee, ride the ferry and spend quality time with my husband, two children, and two cats!
