Emily Mikkelsen

I’m a photographer from Nine Mile Falls, WA who specializes in high school seniors, families and sports. I have loved photography since college and had planned to become a high school counselor… now I spend hours with high school seniors building them up in my own way behind the camera. I love being creative, meeting new people, and seeing my clients light up, blossom and grow their confidence during our sessions! I love when moms finally get the elusive family photos that are often so tricky to schedule amongst life’s busy moments. 

I’m a mom of three wonderful kids who are grown, enjoying a (little bit of a) slower life now with my husband and puppy, where we have time to think about what’s for dinner, when we see the kids next, and make plans for weekends that don’t involve being in a gym or on a field (although I do miss it!).

I am honored to have been asked to share my time and talent with the Soulumination organization.
