Hello! I am Kathleen.
Photography is a big part of my life. For as long as I can remember I have been drawn to the power of a great family photograph. One of my most favorite photos is from my childhood. It is of my sister and me along with our parents, standing in front of our station wagon. The clothes, the hair styles, the car, the Band-aid on my shin all bring me right back to that time. Such is the power of a photo and I love creating that for others.
Family photography is something that I am passionate about. It’s not about the perfect location, the perfect clothes or even the prefect day. For me it’s about the connection, the emotion. I find joy in capturing the love and essence of every family that I get in front of my lens.
To me family is everything, just ask anyone who knows me! I have been married for over 36 years. We have five children that are almost all grown. They have added 2 sons-in law, a daughter in law and 7 adorable grandchildren. These people fill my world. I think I can honestly say that “I get it” when it comes to family dynamics. I take that understanding and love for family on every shoot I do. Can you tell that I love my job?
