James is fighting terminal brain cancer. He is beloved by his wife Melanie, his son Sam, and his stepchildren Lillian and Ben. “Jimmy’s biggest accomplishments have been as a beloved, adventurous father to his son and a wonderful stepfather to Lilly and Ben,” his wife tells us. “Family and friends alike adore his kind, wonderful personality and outstanding taste in music and film. He is so kind, thoughtful curious, loving, fun, and inclusive. He asked me to marry him in front of our three kids on New Year’s Day, 2018!”
