James S.

After seven years of severe illness, James has taken a turn for the worse. His partner Kari, who is the mother of James’s son, Jackson, says that James has weakened to the point where he is “now waiting on a heart transplant…it is literally life or death.” Three times, she says, she was told that he had lost his life, but doctors were able to revive him. James now is diagnosed with kidney failure, heart failure, and sarcoidism WWP. “Yet he still makes everyone laugh and smile,” she says, “even though he knows he doesn’t have much time. I’m a hard worker, and James is even more stubborn than I am.”
